Apriso partners with three of China's manufacturing business solution providers

(Business News, 31 Oct 2006 )

Apriso, a provider of adaptive software platforms for manufacturing operations execution, has signed strategic partnering agreements with three—Neusoft, SAIS and Chcontrol—of China's business solution providers. The three company will collaborate with Apriso to expand business opportunities in their respective markets throughout China. Apriso's product, FlexNet, supports manufacturing operations for a number of China's manufacturers, including Haier, Xian Janssen, Shanghai GM and Founder Group.

Christopher Chung, vice president of Asia Pacific operations at Apriso, said, "China is fast becoming the world's manufacturing center. Most global manufacturers have set up regional plants here, while many Chinese enterprises have alliances with leading global brands or have ambitious plans to present their own brands to overseas markets. To support this phenomenal growth, Chinese manufactures need adaptable operations execution systems implemented quickly. We believe these partnerships will enable us to meet this demand."

Apriso is now actively engaged with the three business solution providers working to expand the company's business in China's leading economic zones. Neusoft in Shenyang, SAIS in Shanghai and Chcontrol in Guangzhou will cover the North, East and Southern markets of China, respectively.

Liu Jiren, chairman and CEO of Neusoft, stated, "For more than ten years, Chinese manufactures have been deploying business applications such as ERP. These leading manufacturers are familiar with how to gain business efficiency from supportive IT systems. These same leaders are now looking to gain even further return on their IT investment by integrating business systems with operations execution solutions like that of Apriso's. We are glad to share the common idea of supporting Chinese manufacturers with our combined solutions."

Zhang Chuanhong, VP of SAIS, explained, "It is one of our key missions to introduce leading solutions worldwide to our customers. We have found a need amongst our customers for operations execution systems to be directly linked to enterprise information systems. And this integration is quickly becoming a necessity for the manufacturing industry. Through Apriso's solutions, SAIS can provide more effective and accurate solutions for our customers by helping to reduce cost, deliver as scheduled, and enhance the quality of product and services."

Zhang Hao, chairman and president of Chcontrol, noted, "We are pleased to sign this agreement with Apriso, a leading manufacturing software systems provider for operations execution. By working with Apriso, we are better able to deliver solutions to our customers through our joint services team, while our local experience benefits both companies as we pursue business expansion in this region."

Jim Henderson, president and chief executive officer at Apriso, commented, "We are committed to providing competitive advantage to our Chinese manufacturing customers. With these agreements, we have taken Apriso's role in China to the next level by complementing our product offering with additional services localized to the Chinese market."
