Sanjay Singh

Sanjay Singh is the Director of the Industrial Technologies Practice, overseeing research and consulting projects and reports for this group in Asia. He is based out of the Kuala Lumpur office in Malaysia. Sanjay has research and consulting experience of more than 12 years, and has worked with projects involving a variety of diverse industries including Electronics and Semiconductors, Auto ID and Smart Cards, Industrial Automation, Aerospace and Defense, Automotive and Transportation, Energy and Power Supplies, Test & Measurement and Engineering sectors.

Sanjay is responsible for both business development activities as well as overseeing the consulting engagements in these industries – from inception through to execution. He has personally led and conducted many consulting assignments for government, quasi-government bodies and companies – both MNCs, as well as, local companies – in these sectors.

He has authored several strategic market reports related to the above industries in Asia Pacific countries. In Asia, he has also managed numerous IPO reports extending over a range of industries, both industrial and consumer based. Sanjay has received acclaim for his research through articles and quotes published in leading news services and publications.

David Loh
Field Applications Engineer
Microchip Technology

David has held the position of Field Applications Engineer in Microchip's Singapore sales office since October 2005. In this role he provides technical support to customers across the region.
David has over 7 years of practical application engineering experience, and prior to joining Microchip, he worked as an application engineer with distributor Excelpoint System Ltd.

David holds a Bachelors degree in Computing and Information Systems from the University of London.

Chris Tiong
Marketing Manager, Taiwan & ASEAN
Tektronix

Chris Tiong has over 17 years experience in the high tech industry and is currently the Marketing Manager for Taiwan and ASEAN. Chris entered the Test & Measurement industry in 1989. During this time he has held a number of positions as the Process Engineer at National Semiconductor, USA, Application Engineer & Sales Manager for Fluke Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Data Acquisitions System, Calibration system, In-circuit Tester, W&G Protocol Analyzer and Wavetek RF equipment. Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University, Utah, USA and Associate degrees (Hons) in Math and Engineering from Brigham Young University, Idaho, USA.

Cindy Ong
Marketing Engineer
National Instruments

Cindy graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) and majored in Electronics and Electrical engineering. She was formerly the Internal Sales Engineering Manager and has recently moved on to the role of a Marketing Engineer of National Instruments Singapore, which is the company’s headquarters for Southeast Asia.

During her 3 years in National Instruments, Cindy assisted customers in configuring applications from a wide range of industries which include power, oil, gas, automotive, aerospace, medical and electronics.

Sanka Ravipriya
Applications Engineer
National Instruments

Sanka graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Electrical & Computer Engineering Department with a degree in Computer Engineering. His key research interests during university were Context-Aware Systems and Smart Mobile Applications. He has co-authored a journal article in the IEEE Pervasive Computing July-Sep 2004 and his honours year technical paper was accepted for ICOST 2005: 3rd International Conference On Smart Homes and Health Telematic. As an applications engineer, he assists in supporting and training customers from numerous industries in the ASEAN region.

Suneel Sinha
Technical Account Manager

Suneel Sinha has 8 years of experience in the areas of embedded product development, product management, embedded software, sales and Field engineering.

After completing his BE (Computer Science) from Bangalore University, India in 1999, Suneel worked for 5 years in the design and development of wireless systems and special projects involving Access Points and wireless clients.

For the past 1 year, Suneel has been working as a Technical Account Manager with Wind River within APAC region. He presently works as Technical Account Manager for Wind River India.

Ronald Cheng
Senior Consultant
Telelogic

As Senior Consultant working with Telelogic, Ronald Cheng is responsible for the technical issues relating to Rhapsody Products. Ronald has worked with Telelogic since its acquisition of I-Logix in 2006.

Prior to the above, Ronald spent nearly 10 years working in the Advanced Telematics System area. He was a member of the system architect design team and held the management position responsible for software development, including the server and the embedded client system.

Ronald began his career in the Consumer Electronics Industry. During his tenure, Ronald held several positions, including: software development engineer, electronics engineer, firmware engineer and project engineer, through which he gained wide exposure on the various aspects of embedded product development.

Colin Chew
Regional Product Marketing Manager
Wavecom Asia Pacific Ltd.

Colin Chew is the regional product marketing manager for Wavecom Asia Pacific Ltd. with over 7 years of semi-conductor experience. He has responsibilities in several aspects of the company including management, sales and marketing, company strategy, market analysis, marketing communications, product training and business development.

As regional product marketing manager, Colin is also responsible for managing all Wavecom products for Asia Pacific, and organizes technology events to speak on the various market trends. He has also spoken at several industrial events as well as provided insights on the wireless communications to various market research companies.

Colin possesses a Bachelors degree (Hons.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales.
