BenQ Unveils BenQ T51WA—World's First 15.4' Wide Screen LCD Monitor
BenQ
(Product Announcements, 11/12/2007)
New LCD monitor promises better viewing experience
BenQ, a leading player in digital network devices, unveiled its new 15.4' LCD monitor in wide screen format. Stylish, affordable and functionally superior, the BenQ T51WA wide screen LCD monitor is the world's first 15.4' monitor and offers a more enhanced and comfortable viewing experience for wide screen 15' LCD monitor users. Traditionally, the viewing area of a wide screen monitor is known to be lesser than the viewing area of a regular LCD monitor of the same size. Also, until recently, the entry level size of a wide screen LCD monitor was 17', making the switch from a normal 15' monitor to a wide screen LCD much more expensive. Combining the pleasure of owning a wide screen monitor with the functionality of a normal LCD monitor, the BenQ T51WA provides a unique solution to the pertinent and ever-so-difficult decision. The BenQ T51WA offers users the luxury of having a 15.4' wide screen LCD monitor without compromising on the viewing area, or shelling out a lot of money. The new monitors are particularly beneficial for the ITES sector, where the employees' working area of the screen remains unchanged while they are introduced to the wide screen format. In addition to the extended viewing area, there are other features that contribute to the performance of the new BenQ T51WA. The 262K color display brings out every detail in the picture whereas a brightness ratio of 200cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 400:1 make sure that the images rendered are sharp and without blur. Also, the 8ms response time adds to the joy of gaming or watching fast paced action scenes. The new monitors also come with full Vista compatibility. Ish Bawa, Marcom Head, BenQ India, said: 'BenQ has always tried to come up with differentiated products that solve consumer needs. The BenQ T51WA wide screen monitor is one such product that makes the shift to a wide screen monitor affordable, without compromising on performance and output.' About BenQ A leading market player, BenQ India Pte Ltd is a part of the BenQ Corp., head quarters based out of Taiwan, having three main business groups—Computing Products, Digital Media and Mobile Business.
