AVX Expands Surface Mount Chip Capacitors for Telecommunication Market to include Flexiterm 2/10/2008

AVX Corporation has developed a low profile, surface mount chip capacitor specifically designed for tip and ring telecom applications. Designated the tip and ring capacitor, the capacitor features a standard nickel barrier solder plate termination and are compatible with standard surface mount reflow processes. The Flexiterm termination is now offered in the tip and ring capacitors. The capacitor has a X7R dielectric rating from -55°C to 125°C with a capacitance value of up to 1.2micofarads.
