Bourns has announced bridge rectifiers with high forward current and low forward voltage.
Bourns has announced five bridge rectifier series ideal for power and Switch-Mode Power Supply (SMPS) applications. The bridge rectifiers come in 1mm to 1.4mm packages, which Bourns claims, make them suited for use in boards and for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).
The Bourns CD-MBL and CD-DF4 bridge rectifiers feature high forward current as well as low forward voltage. These features allow designs that do not require larger diodes for high current applications.
The bridge rectifier series–CD-MBL1xx, CD-MBL2xx, CD-DF4xx, CD-HD0x and CD-HD2x–are RoHS compliant. For pricing reference, the CD-MBL series is priced from 14 cents to 23 cents in 12,000 piece quantities, the CD-DF series is priced from 40 cents to 50 cents in 12,000 piece quantities and the CD-HD series is priced from 24 cents to 48 cents in 15,000 piece quantities.
