The DTE20, DTE40 and DTE60 series from XP Power each comprise eight models offering of choice of two 4:1 input voltage ranges of 9VDC to 36VDC and 18VDC to 75VDC.
XP Power has announced a line of encapsulated DC/DC converters belonging to the DTE family that offers 20W, 40W and 60W of output power in chassis-mount or DIN rail packages. According to the company, the fully encapsulated package not only helps in heat dissipation, but also helps protect the converter from environmental factors present in industrial applications.
The DTE20, DTE40 and DTE60 series each comprise eight models offering of choice of two 4:1 input voltage ranges of 9VDC to 36VDC and 18VDC to 75VDC. Tightly regulated single output voltages of 5.1VDC, 12VDC, 24VDC or 48VDC are available across each range. Isolation is rated at 2.5kVDC for 60s. Model-dependent typical efficiency ranges from 89% to 92%.
All members of the DTE lineup operate over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Full power is available up to a minimum of 70°C, depending on the model. Units meet the international safety specification for IT equipment UL/IEC 60950-1, as well as EN55022 Class A limits for both conducted and radiated emissions without the need for external filtering components.
Prices start at $45.30 for the DTE20 series in lots of 500 units.
