Anritsu’s SEEK MX100003A enables the development of detailed test configurations for one-button execution for the Network Master Pro MT1000A and Network Master Flex MT1100A transport testers.

Anritsu has released the SEEK (Scenario Edit Environment Kit) MX100003A GUI software that enables the development of detailed test configurations for one-button execution on the Network Master Pro MT1000A and Network Master Flex MT1100A transport testers. According to the company, operators can apply their own test methods and procedures using the PC software for implementation in the field by technicians who are installing and maintaining high-speed optical networks.

The software permits contextual or graphical prompts to be added to multiple sequential tests with user-defined pass/fail thresholds. Once the test file is created, it is loaded into the Network Master transport tester. To run the test series, field engineers simply connect to the device or network under test and press the appropriate icon.

Single-file test scripts can include multiple tests, such as electrical/fiber optical cable testing, BERT, RFC2544 and Y.1564, each with individual criteria. When one test is completed, technicians can continue to the next test section.

The one-button test system also supports the creation of default test packages with minimum adjustment required by field personnel. Upon completion, a single file containing all results is created to simplify and expedite the submission process.

The SEEK MX100003A GUI software for the Network Master Pro MT1000A and Network Master Flex MT1100A transport testers is free for downloading. Lightweight and battery-powered, the MT1000A portable field tester supports speeds from 1.5Mb/s to 10Gb/s. The MT1100A is used to test network and transport equipment operating at bit rates from 1.5Mb/s to 100Gb/s.
