The TPD4207F intelligent power device (IPD) achieves a current rating of 5A and a voltage rating of 600V housed in a small SOP30 surface-mount package.
Toshiba Corp.'s Storage & Electronic Devices Solutions Company has launched the TPD4207F. The new product expands the company's line-up of high voltage intelligent power devices (IPDs) in small-size packages for fan motors, including those in air conditioners, air cleaners, and pumps.
The TPD4207F IPD is housed in a small SOP30 surface mount package. Using Toshiba's MOSFET technology for reducing power loss, the 600 V Super Junction MOSFET DTMOSIV series, the IPD achieves a 5 A rating. This is sufficient to drive the compressor motor of a refrigerator, the company noted.
Mass production shipments are already available for the TPD4207F.
