The PTSM connectors, compatible with any existing PTSM headers, can be combined in multiple ways, including wire-to-board, board-to-board, wire-to-wire and through-board. Like the original PTSM series, the latching versions are just 5mm high and have a 2.5mm pitch. Devices have a UL rating of up to 5A and 150V. They accept AWG 20-26 wire and offer two to eight positions per connector.

Though intended for the lighting industry, PTSM latching connectors are suitable for any miniature wire-to-wire or wire-to-board application, such as camera systems, stepping motors and medical devices.
