Enabling rapid development of smart connected devices, Digi's ConnectCore for i.MX6UL starter kit is outfitted with a stamp-size system-on-module powered by an NXP i.MX 6UltraLite applications processor.
Serving as an IoT design platform, the compact 87mm x 63mm development board provides all the features and capabilities needed to build a wide range of wired and wireless connected applications.
Onboard features include 256Mb of flash memory, 256Mb of RAM, integrated 10/100Mbps Ethernet, precertified dual-band 802.11ac wireless LAN plus Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, high-efficiency antenna and a set of key peripheral interfaces. Grove connectors allow the integration of a variety of off-the-shelf sensors and peripherals. The starter kit also furnishes USB host/device connections, microSD storage and embedded expansion connectors.

A board support package for ConnectCore delivers an integrated and tested Yocto Project software platform for creating custom Linux-based systems, along with full source-code access right out of the box. The kit can be used to build connected devices for medical, healthcare, energy, and industrial applications, as well as for prototyping new connected-product concepts.
