Texas Instruments’ TPS548D22 40A, 16VIN synchronous buck DC/DC converter provides true differential remote-voltage sensing to improve load regulation and overall system accuracy. The converter packs integrated MOSFETs with a high-side on-resistance of 2.9mΩ and a low-side on-resistance of 1.2mΩ in its small PowerStack package, increasing power density and system reliability in space-constrained applications.

In addition, the part offers adaptive on-time control with four selectable frequency settings: 425kHz, 650kHz, 875kHz, and 1.05MHz. Device specifications include a conversion input voltage range of 1.5V to 16V, an input bias voltage range of 4.5V to 22V, an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5.5V, and continuous output current of 40A. Reference voltage accuracy over temperature is 0.5%.
